Ötztal offers plenty of possibilities for adventures for young people as well as for not so young people and all that in summer as in winter. Beside skiing and snowboarding you could go ice-skating, climbing, visit museums, relax at Aqua Dome Therme Längenfeld, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, ice-climbing, snowshoeing and winterhiking, mountainbiking (bike republic Sölden), rafting, canyoning, white water kayaking and a lot more. Ötztal is a great playground and offers fun and adventure but you could also relax and have a quiet time! We picked just some of the extraordinary possibilities for you here:
The sledging/tobogganing night is not possible every year, due to snow-conditions and because of the fact, that tobogganing is most popular as a mass sport in the region of historical Tyrol (North-, East- and South-Tyrol), but not that much beyond that region.
Good news for all tobogganing enthusiasts: For T3BOARD24 we are pretty sure there will be a tobogganing night!
The Ötztal and Obergurgl/Hochgurgl are featuring a couple of world-class slopes for cross-country skiing. Choose your track here ...
Visit the famous Topmountain Crosspoint motorcycle museum at Obergurgl! It is directly at the slopes, but you could also arrive by car.
After it was in full fire, back in 2021 and almost completely destroyed, it is now newly built and offers a totally renewed experience!
In Sölden you could visit 007 elements, a cineastic installation around Ian Flemmings James Bond. The images above say more than words could! Read more on their webpage ...
