... is over. We are already planning for T3BOARD20, which will definitively take place! Stay tuned for more information in Summer 2019! Smaller updates also on twitter: https://twitter.com/t3board
The "Stubaier Gletscher", main-skiregion of T3BOARD19, is Austrias largest glacier skiregion. 26 lifts, 64 kilometres of slopes and its longest run of 10 kilometres (~ 1460m difference in altitude) offer a snow-safe skiing- and boarding-fun from October to June!
In addition to that, there are three more skiingregions included in our skipass, all of them well-known for their snow-saftey at least until April!
After our step to Südtirol-Trentino with T3BOARD18, we are back to Northern Tyrol once again! Stubaital is reachable very easy, because it's situated directly near Innsbruck with its International Airport offering direct flights from all over Europe during winter season. The location offers various activities, also for our visitors without wintersport skills. A must-have: visit Innsbruck during "Maximilian-Jahr", a commemorative year which is held in Innsbruck in fact of the 500th anniversary of the death of Maximilian I., Holy Roman Emperor, an important member of the House of Habsburg who was also of considerable importance for Innsbruck and Tyrol. For example he built the famous "Goldenes Dachl" (Golden Roof) of Innsbruck!
We proudly present T3BOARD19! The 19th official T3BOARD-Event will take place in Stubaital in Tyrol.
Stubaital is starting at 900 meters above sealevel going up to 1700m during its length of 35km enclosed by the well-known "Stubaier Gletscher".
For railway fans Stubai offers a special adventure: you could go by tramway from Innsbruck at 574m to Fulpmes at 937m, located in the middle of the alpine valley of Stubai. The route offers spectacular panoramic views to Innsbruck & the Glaciers of Stubai, not to forget about great constructions like railway bridges & tubes dating back to 1904!
Since I saw this tramway in Amsterdam during my attendance of T3CON15 back in 2015, I dreamt of a T3BOARD event near my hometown Innsbruck!
... T3SNOW, T3POWDER, T3WINTER ... lots of different names which are maybe less misleading.
But remember: this is the most traditional TYPO3-event and so the name is!
In the past few years we recognized, some people are puzzled by the name 'T3BOARD'.
Anyway, we are snow-sport enthusiasts! Most of us are skiers nowadays, but if you like cross-country skiing or tobogganing or even nothing of that: You are welcome!
You do not need to be a boarder for attending T3BOARD!
