How to get there

How to get there by car

There are different possibilities of approaching Stubaital from northern directions. Road-conditions should be fine in March, although you should be prepared for snowy streets anyways in Tyrol at this time in the year!

  • Arriving from Switzerland: via Arlberg - Innsbruck - in direction Brenner - leave at exit E45 Stubaital / Schönberg before you reach the main toll station of Brennerautobahn
  • Arriving from Germany and eastern Austria: via Rosenheim - Kufstein - Innsbruck - in direction Brenner - leave at exit E45 Stubaital / Schönberg before you reach the main toll station of Brennerautobahn

There is an alternative route without extra toll of Brennerautobahn. For that option you must leave the highway at exit Innsbruck West (in Innsbruck you need to head in direction Brenner first, it is the first exit after Innsbruck, and the last one without extra toll) and then use the national road, passing Mutters and Natters (3rd exit in the first roundabout). After that you cannot miss until exit Stubaital.

Take the national road in Stubaital until you reach Neustift. In Neustift switch to the state road in direction West. You will pass several hamlets of Neustift until you will finally reach Milders. Hotel Brennerspitz is situated quite centrally there, directly behind Hotel Holzknecht.

How to get there by bus, train or airplane

There are scheduled flights to Innsbruck Airport from destinations all over Europe on a daily base. In winter there are numerous charter flights in addition.

Our hotel is only 28.5 km away from Innsbruck Airport (INN).

If you are a railway enthusiast you could decide to go by train to Innsbruck and tramway to Fulpmes. Yes, tramway! During the day the tramway is connecting Fulpmes with Innsbruck every ~30 minutes. Fulpmes train station is about 15 minutes by car from our hotel. The tramway route is a highlight for all enthusiast of railways or tramways, offering great panoramic views while going on a historical route first built in 1904.
