Various activities in Ötztal
Ötztal offers plenty of possibilities for adventures for young people as well as for not so young people and all that in summer as in winter. Beside skiing and snowboarding you could go ice-skating, climbing, visit museums, relax at Aqua Dome Therme Längenfeld, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, ice-climbing, snowshoeing and winterhiking, mountainbiking (bike republic Sölden), rafting, canyoning, white water kayaking and a lot more. Ötztal is a great playground and offers fun and adventure but you could also relax and have a quiet time! We picked just some of the extraordinary possibilities for you here:
Tobogganing (sledging) night
It was a real pitty, and lots of us were sad about it, that we had to cancel our sledging night at T3BOARD19 due to the snow conditions on the run.
Good news for all tobogganing enthusiasts: For T3BOARD20EU we can be pretty sure there will definitively be a tobogganing night, and it will be held on Thursday!
Your skipass will be valid for the cable-car in the evening for the night-sledging action! Sledges will be available for rent at a reasonable price at the valley station as well as at the mountain station. After several runs, we will meet finally at the valley station and have a nice dinner at the "Downhill Grill" there!
Topmountain Crosspoint & Motorcycle Museum
Visit the famous Topmountain Crosspoint motorcycle museum at Obergurgl! It is directly at the slopes, but you could also arrive by car.
You could see over 230 historic motorcycles on an area of 3000m²! Even architecture of Europe's highest motorcycle museum is remarkable as well! Indeed there is also a cosy restaurant attached!

Aqua Dome - Tirol Therme Längenfeld

In the middel of Ötztal there is the small nice village of Längenfeld, which is known for its "Aqua Dome", a thermal bath in the middle of the alps.
If our accommodations great Spa area with sauna, infrared cabins and pool isn't enough for you, visit Aqua Dome and enjoy the great experience of swimming in the warm water in an outside pool during winter, and lots of other attractions of Tirol Therme Längenfeld.
