Ski area Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel: our "homebase" when beeing at #T3BOARD26. The valley station of that great skiing area is just 700m away, and there is a skibus going, which is included in the skipasses!
The ski area offers a wide range of different slopes, alloted on two mountain masses divided by the valley of Angertal (which offers nice places for lunch e.g.).
The ski area offers plenty of attractions like Glocknerblick viewing platform, where you could see Austrias highest peak, Großglockner, which is with 3798 m. ü. A. only by little smaller than the highest peak of historic Tyrol, Ortler (3899 m ü. A.), which you could watch at #T3BOARD25.
More attractions are: a snowpark a, funslope and a 140m suspension bridge, just to name some.
Another, small but nice ski resort is the ski resort Graukogel. Only a hand full of lifts and slopes but in a nice, pine-tree covered mountain area.
Sportgastein is also not the most spacious ski area, but it has the highest peaks of #T3BOARD26 and offers some slopes which really are fun to ride, believe me!
It is an eldorado for freeriders and offers a really nice panoramic view on some glaciers like the "Mölltaler Gletscher", which are part of Hohe Tauern National Park.
Here, at the borders of Austrias by far largest national park as well as the largest nature reserve in the Alps, you can enjoy your riding in a really breath taking surrounding.
Just a couple of minutes by car or skibus away from our hotel, you could enter another great skiing area: Dorfgastein-Großarltal.
This ski area offers another 70km of groomed slopes reachable by 16 lifts or cable cars.
